1. Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell
Williams and Stevie Wonder -- It was
announced on Jan. 7 that Rodgers, Williams
and Wonder will join previously announced
performers Daft Punk for a special Grammy
night performance. The group is nominated for
four awards at the 56th annual Grammys,
including Album of the Year, Best Dance/
Electronica Album for "Random Access
Memories" and a Record of the Year and Best
Pop Duo/Group Performance for one of the
biggest songs of the year, "Get Lucky.".
Williams is also nominated for seven awards,
for his featured credits on the songs "Blurred
Lines" and "Get Lucky" as well as a producer
on Kendrick Lamar's album "Good Kid,
M.A.A.D city."
2. Imagine Dragons -- The Las Vegas-based
rock group has enjoyed a successful 2013,
thanks to hit songs such as "It's Time,"
"Radioactive" and "Demons" off of their debut
studio album "Night Visions." The group
notched two nominations, including Record of
the Year and Best Rock Performance for the
song "Radioactive."
3. Katy Perry -- It was announced on Jan. 7
that Perry was added to the growing list of
Grammy night performers. The singer is
nominated for two awards, including Song of
the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for
her No. 1 hit single "Roar." Perry released her
third studio album, "Prism," in October 2013,
which also features the songs
"Unconditionally" and "Dark Horse" featuring

4. Kendrick Lamar -- The rapper received
seven nominations stemming from his debut
studio album "Good Kid, M.A.A.D city," which
debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums
chart in Oct. 2012. His nominations for the
night include Best New Artist, Album Of The
Year, Best Rap Album for Good Kid, M.A.A.D
City, Best R&B Performance for "How Many
Drinks?" featuring Miguel, Best Rap
Performance for "Swimming Pools (Drank),"
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Now Or
Never" featuring Mary J. Blige and Best Rap
Song for "[Expletive] Problems" featuring
Tauheed Epps, Aubrey Graham, Rakim Mayers
& Noah Shebib.
5. Lorde -- New Zealand-born Lorde will
perform at the Grammys following a stellar
breakthrough year on the music scene. She
released her first studio album, "Pure
Heroine," in September 2013, yielded by the
No. 1 single "Royals." She is nominated for
four awards, including Record of the Year,
Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo
Performance for "Royals" as well as Best Pop
Vocal Album for "Pure Heroine." Lorde's
album was also featured on OTRC.com's list of
the 10 best albums of 2013 .
6. Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie
Nelson and Blake Shelton -- The four country
singers will partake in a special Grammy
moment, with details yet to be announced.
This marks Haggard's first ever Grammy
Awards performance. Shelton is nominated for
Best Country Solo Performance for the song
"Mine Would Be You" as well as Best Country
Album for "Based On A True Story."
7. Metallica and Lang Lang -- Legendary
rockers Metallica will team up with Grammy
Cultural Ambassador to China Lang Lang for a
special performance. This marks the first time
the group has performed at the Grammys in 23
years. They are nominated in the Best
Recording Package category for their album
"Metallica Through The Never (Music From The
Motion Picture)."
8. Pink and Nate Ruess -- Pink and the fun.
front man hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100
earlier this year for their duet "Just Give Me a
Reason," which the two will perform for the
first time together on network television. The
song, off of Pink's sixth studio album "The
Truth About Love," has also been nominated
for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group
Performance.
9. Robin Thicke and Chicago -- Thicke will be
joining the band Chicago on stage for a special
Grammy performance. Chicago's album "The
Chicago Transit Authority" was inducted into
the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2013. Thicke is
nominated for three awards, including Record
of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group
Performance for the No. 1 hit single "Blurred
Lines," as well as Best Pop Vocal Album.
10. Taylor Swift -- The pop star is nominated
for four awards at the Grammys, including
Album Of The Year and Best Country Album for
"Red," Best Country Duo/Group Performance
for "Highway Don't Care," which features Tim
McGraw and Keith Urban, and Best Country
Song for the song "Begin Again."
11. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis -- The rapper
and producing partner duo enjoyed massive
success following their debut album "The
Heist." This will mark the first time the two
have performed on the Grammy stage. They
are nominated for seven awards, including
Album of the Year and Song of the Year for the
track "Same Love" featuring Mary Lambert.
12. Beyonce -- The pop diva will take to the
Grammy stage for her first live television
appearance since the release of her surprise
visual album in December 2013. The album
broke several records upon its release, with no
prior promotion or announcement of the

13. Jay Z -- The rapper enjoyed a successful
2013, releasing his twelfth studio album,
"Magna Carta Holy Grail," in July. The album,
which is nominated for Best Rap Album,
features the hit single "Holy Grail" featuring
Justin Timberlake. Jay Z toured extensively to
promote the album in 2013, joining
Timberlake on a joint stadium tour titled
"Legends of the Summer" as well as his own
headlining world tour.
14. John Legend -- The singer is nominated
for Best R&B Album for "Love in the Future,"
his fourth studio effort. Legend married model
Chrissy Teigen in September 2013 , whom he
says inspired the hit single "All of Me" off of
the album.
15. Kacey Musgraves -- The country singer
experienced a breakthrough year in 2013,
coming off the heels of her highly successful
debut album, "Same Trailer Different Park."
The album is nominated for Best Country
Album. Musgraves will join pop superstar Katy
Perry as the opening act of her "Prismatic"
world tour in 2014.
16. Keith Urban -- The "American Idol" judge
is nominated for Best Country Duo/Group
Performance for "Highway Don't Care," a song
that features pop superstars Tim McGraw and
Taylor Swift. Urban recently returned to the
"American Idol" judging panel for a second
season, which features the return of Jennifer
Lopez and the addition of actor/singer Harry
Connick Jr.
17. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr -- The
two members of The Beatles will be honored at
the Grammy Awards the 2014 Recording
Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Additionally, McCartney is nominated for two
awards, including Best Rock Song for "Cut Me
Some Slack" and Best Music Film for "Live
Kisses."
18. Sara Bareilles and Carole King -- The pop
singer will participate in a special Grammy
performance with 2014 MusicCares Person of
the Year honoree and four-time Grammy
Winner Carole King. Bareilles is nominated for
two awards, including Album of the Year for
"The Blessed Unrest" and Best Pop Solo
Performance for the track "Brave."
19. Bruno Mars -- Mars is nominated for Best
Pop Vocal Album for his second studio effort,
"Unorthodox Jukebox." The album has
spawned several hit singles, including "Locked
Out of Heaven," "When I Was Your Man,"
"Treasure," "Gorilla" and "Young Girls."
20. Hunter Hayes -- The 22-year-old country
singer continues his success following his 2011
self-titled solo release. In 2013, he re-released
the album with additional tracks. He is
nominated for Best Country Solo Performance
for the song "I Want Crazy."
